Episode 22 : Dr. Koichi Okabe, DBA in International Business Communication and Certified Trainer of Global Dexterity Method

Dr. Koichi Okabe is a Japanese project coordinator of the Japanese development assistance program in Jordan. He has been engaged in on-site management of international development programs/projects for about 20 years by living and working in developing countries and emerging economies: Sri Lanka, Zambia, Papua New Guinea, Vietnam, Malaysia and Jordan. His duties include project management and playing central role in developing mutual relationship and understanding between the stakeholders from Japan and recipient countries to promote effective and efficient implementation of the development efforts. He believes global leaders need to understand the cultural differences in the way to work and communicate, and to have the ability to create an environment where his/her team members can work comfortably and successfully with people from different cultures. He received Doctorate degree in Business Administration in International Business Communication from Horizons University in France, and Global Leadership MBA from Bond University in Australia. He speaks Japanese, English and a little Arabic.
