What is the added value of being part of a Project Management Institute (PMI) Chapter?

1. Why?

Being part of a Project Management Chapter gives you access to a wealth of resources, webinars, and events for a preferred price or even for free. It is also a way for you to network with local professionals. For the ones who would like to volunteer in the Chapter, being a member of the Chapter is mandatory.

2. Where?

First, you need to be a PMI member. Then you go to pmi.org/memberships/local chapters.

Some Chapters may be recommended based on your IP address but you can choose the Chapters you want to be part of.

You have a small amount to pay to access a rich world of opportunities and learning.

3. My experience

I got my PMP Certification in 2013 and I became a member of PMI France only in 2017. I wish I had joined it earlier. It also motivates me to keep up to date to the certifications and improve.

GOOD LUCK!
