Anjana Wijegunasinghe has over 2 decades of experience in internal audit, risk, and governance domains and currently heads the Digital Transformation of the Internal Audit function of a global organization. She considers herself an innovator who is pushing the boundaries to 'Drive Smarter Audits' through Smart, Sensible & Simple Data & Digital solutions. Building effective teams ground up is her forte. She has been recognized over the years for her contributions to the success of many Internal audit teams in leading organizations. She worked in many countries such as Sri Lanka, Australia, Bangladesh, UAE, etc. She holds an MBA and several certifications in audit and has been a Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2006. She is an active volunteer of the Project Management Chapter of UAE and currently leads the marketing team supporting the chapter's Outreach activities.
