How did you begin to volunteer?

During my summer internship at university, I had my initial volunteering experience, which was a unique opportunity to assist a social worker at one of the largest Reception Centers in Eastern Europe. Since 2019, I have been volunteering at my local PMI chapter.

Why did you continue volunteering?

I volunteer both to give back to the community and to learn.

How has volunteering helped you in your career?

Volunteering allows me to meet incredible people from various fields and learn valuable lessons from them. It gives me the chance to see things from different perspectives, understand various industries better, and gain new and creative ideas. Additionally, volunteering has enhanced my ability to multitask, lead and motivate others, and effectively organize events and activities at the work.

Would you encourage other people to take up volunteering, and if so, why?

Yes, I would strongly encourage other people to take up volunteering. Volunteering is a wonderful way to make a positive impact in the community and help those in need. It provides valuable opportunities for personal growth and learning new skills.
