How would you describe yourself?
I am a Project Manager, International Assessor, and Certified Trainer & Facilitator. I am a professional management and business development consultant who is an effective and creative problem-solver. I’ve 14 years of total diversified experience that kindles the ability to think of systems in totality by looking at the big picture and connecting the dots. I excel in working closely with senior management to facilitate decision-making and drive change in a structured manner.
I am also an external Advisor at some incubators in Bahrain, with the responsibility for entrepreneurs' development and work transformation.
Why do you like most as a project manager?
I love leading and being able to influence people to create a change.
As a woman project manager what is the biggest challenge you’ve faced?
Acceptance of a project manager from a different academic background and younger in age by most of the stakeholders. This was challenging, as you feel not trusted and the environment became tense and negative, which will impact the progress of projects.
With time, I was able to prove my strengths in project management and the impact that I can leave on each project. this helped me in being a decision-maker in my current organization, and become recommended by others to work in companies as a consultant or external Advisor
What is the top skill needed for project managers for today and tomorrow?
Leadership, communication and problem solving
