How would you describe yourself?

I considered myself as «an engaged and professional employee» and «an entrepreneur» in education, professional training, and digital technology». I love to learn and share my knowledge! I am result-oriented and passionate about digitalization, professional development, education, transformation, value creation and project/program management.

How did you become a project manager?

I became a project manager right after my graduation. In fact, I started my professional life in a telecom supplier company and I was at the same time the lead technical engineer and the project manager for 3G Wireless Networks roll-out projects (CDMA and WiMAX). I enjoyed this experience and decided to hone my skills in project management and moved to a telecom operator.

What is the most important skill a project manager needs for the future?

Things are still changing. Even the profession of project manager is changing from the traditional approach (rolling wave) to agile methodology. The most important skill a project manager needs for the future for me is the ability to keep learning and adapt to the situations.

What is your next step as a project manager?

The next step for me is to continue developing my leadership skills and my knowledge in different domains like finances, marketing, management, strategy, etc in order to target a C-level position in the coming years.

Do you have any resources to recommend?

I will recommend the PMBOK (Project Management Book of Knowledge, PMI) and I will also recommend, if they get the opportunity, to volunteer in their local PMI Chapter or other professional association in order to grow their professional networks, their knowledge and soft skills.
