How would you describe yourself?

I’m an open-minded, initiator, team player, and an experienced project manager highly skilled in statistics & data analysis, client relations, a well-organized personality, and excellent in time management. The diversity of skills gave me the privilege of understanding different knowledge areas, passionate about creativity, technology, engineering, and project management.

Why do you enjoy most as a project manager?

Sensing the need of the entity and understanding the direction could give you the advantage to be self-prepared.  Then getting into the finest details of the project is a good enabler for any project manager. This will set the foundation then the alignment with other stakeholders is another layer of the project success. The project manager's touch shines clearly by managing the expectation of the key stakeholders. Success won't be visible without being an initiator, a good communicator, and having a resilience mindset through interpretation of the time with tasks.

What are the top skills needed by a project manager?

Agility, especially at an early stage of the project where everyone has their wish list. Public speaking could be the make or break of delivering the right information or even having the buy-in from the project team and key stakeholders. Good Planner, planning on a piece of paper or being an unorganized personality will impact you as a project manager because you may search for data or information where it might be under your sight and you will lose valuable time which you don't have while the project is up and running. Presentation Skills, you may talk for hours, and the audience may lose you whereas the idea could be explained with a few images or shapes.

As a project manager, what is one thing you would like to improve in the future?

Vision 2030 attract us in so many ways which demand different qualification and skills, and we would like to be part of all initiatives and programs. However, as a project manager living in one of the biggest transformation entities, I'm interested in getting into the information technology world as its key enablers for digital transformation.

Do you have any resources to recommend?

I recommend all portfolio, program, and project managers to witness Saudi Post Logistics | SPL transformation as there are many successful projects in a very short period of time.
