How would you describe yourself?

I’m a people person. I love meeting new people and learning about themselves. I can almost find mutual ground with strangers, and I like making people feel comfortable in my presence. I find this skill is particularly helpful when kicking off projects with new clients. Moreover, I am also results-oriented, constantly scrutinizing the goal to determine how close or how far away we are and what it will take to make it happen. I find this pressure inspiring and a great motivator for the rest of the team. In fact, over the past year, I was able to help the team shorten our average product time to embark on new projects. I focus much on communication. I pride myself on making sure people have the right information because it drives better results.

How did you become a project manager?

I have developed my project management skills since my first work as a local delivery manager and enhanced my skills as a pre-registered engineer for the deployment of a new Backbone. Furthermore, I have joined Orange Business Services as a Project Manager in Project Management Center in FBO. I started my project management training after finding that my interest in project management was growing.

I got PMP Certified in April 2021. I study the entire Project Management Body of Knowledge Guide (PMBOK). I emphasised also Exam Content Outlines that lay out the content covered in each section of the exam. I even bought materials and studied on my own on online platforms.

What are you most pride of, as a project manager?

As a project manager, I enjoyed working in a team and very sociable and great team players. I can adapt to different people, cultures, environments, and situations. Being flexible is key to team communication being a builder and being a team leader, co-worker, and supervisor at the same time.

What would you like to improve in the future?

No project is the same. Yet, the expertise in this field is helpful whenever I come across similar situations and issues in the future.

I would like to enhance my knowledge in emotional intelligence.
